NEXT UP! (: Korean food! If you wanna taste some traditional, zhen zhong korean cuisine but on a tight budget, or you are just reluctant to pay the 7% gst service charge and what not yet still wanna try korean food. THEN THIS WILL BE THE BEST CHOICE!The Chinatown area is known for Chinese New Year goodies, travel agencies and local gastronomic delights. Little-known, however, is a little gem of a Korean restaurant, located in the confines of Mosque Street . Togi Korean restaurant!
For the uninitiated, perhaps a good introduction to Korean food is the Dol Sot Bi Bim Bab ($10), which consists of vegetables, beef/chicken/pork, mushroom, egg and rice, served steaming and fragrant in a hot stone bowl.(on the right of photo) Mixed with Korean-style chilli, the result is a literal melting pot of colours and flavours that you just can't get enough of!
oh! bestie's favourite side dish because she dont really like the others. (: I dont really know how to eat the side dishes too. which is a pity.
Restaurant : TOGI

IKEA SWEDEN MEATBALL! YUMMY (:
This Huge biscuit is obviously so much bigger than my head! I thought i'll never get to eat it ever again! The first time iate it was when my cousin got it over from overseas. Whats the taste like then? well! I doubt many would like it except me my grandmoma and aunt! haha, its tasteless and rough. Havta eat it with butter or other flavour enhancing sauces! the more you eat the the more tasty it becomes!
For healthier choice! Choose this (:
1st of Sept, A day which was much filled with all sorts of different kind of feelings. Not sure which is the best word to describe that kinda Rojak feeling. Well, I dont know what to say too, sighs..
Wenta queued up for collection of passport in the late morning and waited 2 hours, 1000+ of passports issued before it was finally my turn. Had lunch with mom at bugis ajitei, Love the food there, prices were reasonably affordable! best for students like us. I especially love this potato wedges with cheese (baked) highly recommended for cheeessee lovers!
It was pouring after our lunch, and not far away from us we saw these two moms carrying their kids, they needed shelter over to the opposite path. Without hesitation, my mom approached the two moms and offered to shelter them over. She went back and forth to shelter both of them, and I stood quietly behind watching her every move.I smiled. I'm proud of my mom from deep within as she's ever so helpful to others. Her clothes were all wet,yet it didnt really matter to her...She's a role model whom i would always idolize (:
hmm i guess that's all for today
